Rack was delivered 8 weeks after ordering. Some parts had metal gouges and not just chipped paint. Instructions were not included, instead it was a piece of paper with a QR code that didn’t work for me. Thankfully a google search helped me find the instructions, although a large print out would have been easier than my iPhone. The thread locker they provided, were in individual single use pouches and were hard upon delivery so I had to go and purchase my own. Additionally, the extrusion pieces had metal debris left in the threaded holes and forced me to clean out the debris with a pick in several. The instructions forced you to read ahead to verify what parts were used where because the sizes and types of hardware listed for different models don’t match your vehicle’s rack and it can be difficult to understand. Additionally, the winged support brackets aren’t mentioned in the instructions. Lastly, the dimensions of the extrusions were not always accurate and was too tight at times which caused me the most frustration. The HT T-nuts occasionally would have to be hammered using a rubber mallet and 16” 1/4” extension to be put into place. This created metal shards and curly metal debris, chipping the paint as it was worked into position. I wish their was less gap between the rear window and the rack.
It’s lightweight, feels strong. Time will tell on its reliability and construction/design, but for now I’m disappointed in the assembly/quality portions.
