Ready to remove your roof top tent from your low-profile SUV roof rack without having to access the bottom of your tent? With this innovative new design, you can simply stand at your rear bumper and open and close the RTT mounts with an electric drill in seconds. No longer do you need to remove your cross bars or scratch up your knuckles trying to get to the bottom of your tent.
After eight months of development work with the Sherpa Equipment Company, we are excited to release a whole new method of installing and removing your roof top tent. This mounting system is specifically targeted for SUVs like Ford Broncos and Toyota 4Runners running low profile roof racks like Sherpa, Prinsu, TrailRax, UpTop, Wescott and more. The mounts act as large hooks that are designed to hook the front and rear cross bars. With the help of an electric drill, simply drive the long stainless steel threaded rod to open or close the RTT mounts. The system is perfect for RTT owners who have limited or no access to the bottom of their tents once installed on their vehicles.
The mountings hooks are specifically designed for 8020 2" wide x 1" tall cross bars that are most common on SUV roof racks. They are able to accept other roof racks like Front Runner Slimeline, Prinsu Pro, AluCab cross bars and others that have approximately 1" tall cross bar height.
NOTE: This product is NOT COMPATIBLE with GOBI roof racks.
SELECT OPTION
A - This option is the most popular. If your tent has standard tent mounting rails with aluminum sliders and hex bolts, then this is the correct option. The tent slider plates for these mounts measure 1.09″ wide. Common tent brands are: 23Zero, ARB, iKamper, Bushwakka, Roofnest, Smittybilt, Front Runner, OVS, Tuff Stuff, Outland Motorworks, Pantheon Adventure and more.
B - This option is for tent mounting rails with narrow mounting slots. The tent sliders measure approximately 0.92″ wide. Select this option for James Baroud, Naturnest, Intrepid and more.
C - This option is for tent mounting rails with mounting slots that accept 13 mm width M8 hex head bolts or M8 T bolts. Select this option for Ironman 4x4,Inspired Overland, FSR Odyssey, The Bush Company and more.

Limited production run
We only manufactured 25 vehicles worth of mounts to learn more about use cases and to gain real-life experience. With this we are hoping to gain invaluable feedback from early adopters to learn how we can further improve the product before manufacturing at a larger volume next year. Please recognize that these mounts are an innovative new approach to solving a problem and may need some minor fine tuning. We will offer support for all of our customers and offer improvement upgrades as we determine best practices and tweaks. Additional Information about the Mounts
The mounts ship fully assembled and ready to slide into your tent mounting rail. When received, please follow the included instructions for a few installation steps. NOTE: The mounts will raise your tent 1", we learned that this was necessary to avoid rattle noises. The threaded rods are 6 feet (72 inches) in length and are designed to fit full length wedge style roof top tents. If you have a shorter length clamp-shell or soft-shell roof top tent, please specify the length of your roof top tent and we can cut the threaded rod shorter as needed.

Does it lock?
Yes it can! You can purchase a roof top tent lock or use a standard 1/2″ receiver hitch pin lock for 1-1/4″ Class I & II receiver.
What is included in the kit?
This kit includes 4 roof top tent mounts. They arrive fully assembled but installation steps are required. Spacers are also included (if needed) but will need reassembly to install. Please follow the steps in the instruction manual.
Will it fit my roof top tent?
Check the tent compatibility table and find the model of your roof top tent to learn if any special hardware is required to adapt to your tent.
What is a fit kit?
Fit kits are required for wide crossbars that are between 3.4" and 5" wide. A Fit kit is also needed if you require the "rotating feature" for platform racks. Check out the available fit kits product page.
Will it work with roof rack platforms?
Our mounts are compatible with some roof rack platforms like Front Runner and others when combined with the 1235 Rotation Fit Kit. The washers will allow the mounts to rotate and clear the spacing.
NOTE: They are NOT compatible with the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform because the slots are going front to back instead of side to side.
How can I space my tent up?
Vanultra mounts do NOT add height and will not space your tent up. On that note, these mounts are not designed to clamp to spacers or riser brackets. If you need extra height you could either raise the cross bars or consider alternative mounting solutions.
My rack is not listed? Will it work?
With hundreds of roof and bed racks constantly coming on the market we can’t list them all. Please feel free to reach out if in doubt. Our mounts will fit roof rack height’s between 0.75″ – 2.1″ and width’s between 0.75″ – 3.3″.
My roof rack is low profile to the vehicle roof, how much clearance is needed?
As a rule of thumb, you will need to be able to fit your arm underneath the cross bar to remove the pins and tighten the knob. Minimum 4" below the tent.
What if it still doesn't fit?
We offer free problem solving advice and quick and easy exchanges. We will do our best to ensure that the product fits correctly the first time, if not, we are happy to exchange it for you. Still concerned? We offer a 30 day return policy.
Is there an option for 6 mounts?
Yes, we offer a kit for 6 mount assemblies for $434. This may be necessary for set ups using a 3rd cross bar to help distribute the weight of the roof top tent. Please contact sales@vanultra.com to purchase.

How many packages does a bed rack come in?
A bed rack typically ships in 2-3 packages. One box is for the hardware and components, the other boxes will be your extrusion bars.
Can I return an item?
We will work with you to the best of our ability to make sure you are happy with your purchase, whether we send you replacement parts, or different components to satisfy your needs.
In the event you are still not satisfied with your purchase after working with us and would still like to return your purchase, there is a 20% restocking fee on ALL orders RETURNED, and the initial shipping charge will also be deducted from your refund.
If we receive your return and discover that the item is used an additional 10% fee will be put in place. any modification done to the product will not be eligible for returns. original shipping costs will not be refunded.
