Yes — it ships flat to your door in a few packages and you build it. Plan on about 2–6 hours for the bed rack, and another 4–8 hours to add the topper, depending on experience. Prefer it assembled? Pickup service is available in Kansas.
The bed rack arrives as two extrusion packages (60–74" long) plus a hardware box. The topper add-on adds three panel boxes for the top, front/rear and sides. Tent platforms will ship LTL on a pallet once available.
That's the whole idea. Buy the stage you need now and bolt the next stage onto the same frame later — no re-buying. Note: if you start at Stage 1, the topper is added as a separate panel kit down the road.
Yes. In bed rack mode it fits virtually any standard RTT on the crossbars. In topper mode you can direct-top-mount larger tents or add optional crossbars for smaller ones (adds ~1.5"). Flush-mount options exist for select tents.
