XTRUSION OVERLAND

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Built for adventure. Backed for the long haul. Xtrusion Overland warrants qualifying Xtrusion Overland-branded products against covered defects in materials and workmanship for the limited lifetime of the original retail purchaser, subject to the component-specific periods, responsibilities, limitations, and exclusions below. If we made a manufacturing mistake, our goal is to make it right.

1. Limited Lifetime Structural Coverage

Qualifying structural components manufactured and sold under the Xtrusion Overland brand are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the limited lifetime of the original retail purchaser. “Lifetime” means the period during which that original purchaser owns the product; it is not the purchaser’s lifetime, the vehicle’s lifetime, the product’s expected service life, or a promise that the product will never wear out. Covered structural components may include aluminum extrusions, CNC-machined components, formed sheet-metal components, and welded assemblies.

This policy does not apply to XTR Offroad-branded products or third-party products unless a written product-specific warranty expressly states otherwise.

2. Component-Specific Warranty Periods

The following shorter periods apply instead of limited lifetime coverage: (a) powder coat, anodizing, paint, graphics, decals, and other cosmetic finishes — two (2) years against manufacturing defects; (b) hinges, latches, locks, gas struts, bearings, sliding mechanisms, rubber seals, weather stripping, plastic components, and supplied fasteners or hardware — two (2) years against manufacturing defects; and (c) fabrics, tents, mesh, zippers, windows, soft enclosures, and similar soft goods — one (1) year against manufacturing defects. Normal wear, maintenance, adjustment, and replacement are routine ownership responsibilities. Third-party components remain subject only to their manufacturer’s warranty.

3. Eligible Purchaser and Proof of Purchase

Coverage applies only to the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. The product must have been purchased directly from Xtrusion Overland or from an authorized dealer or distributor. A dated receipt, order confirmation, or other proof identifying the product, brand, purchase date, and purchaser is required. Products obtained secondhand, from an unauthorized seller, or without verifiable proof of purchase are not covered.

4. What Is Covered

During the applicable warranty period, this warranty covers a manufacturing defect in a qualifying Xtrusion Overland-branded product that causes the product to fail under normal, intended use when it has been properly installed, used within published load and operating limits, and reasonably maintained. Examples may include defective welds, defective material, or manufacturing-related fit or function issues, as confirmed by Xtrusion Overland after review or inspection.

5. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover: (a) normal wear and tear or consumable/wear items; (b) scratches, chips, fading, discoloration, gloss changes, or other cosmetic wear to powder coat, anodized, plated, painted, or other finishes; (c) surface rust, corrosion, oxidation, or damage caused by road salt, chemicals, coastal or industrial environments, water intrusion, debris, or inadequate cleaning or maintenance; (d) improper installation, incorrect assembly, loose or improperly torqued hardware, failure to follow instructions, or installation by an unqualified person; (e) misuse, negligence, accidents, impact, fire, theft, vandalism, improper storage, or acts of nature; (f) racing, jumping, high-speed off-road driving, severe impacts, or use beyond the product’s intended purpose; (g) overloading, uneven loading, exceeding the lowest-rated component, vehicle, bed, roof, or mounting point, or failure to secure a load; (h) alterations, drilling, welding, cutting, repairs, or modifications not authorized in writing by Xtrusion Overland; (i) damage caused by vehicle flex, vehicle movement, collision, improper mounting surfaces, or incompatibility with the vehicle; (j) damage to a vehicle, cargo, accessories, people, or other property; or (k) third-party parts, accessories, hardware, electronics, coatings, or components not manufactured by Xtrusion Overland. Third-party items may be covered only by their manufacturer’s warranty.

6. Installation, Maintenance, and Safe Use

The owner and installer are responsible for following all current installation instructions, torque specifications, load limits, maintenance requirements, and inspection intervals. Where specified, supplied thread-locking compound or an approved equivalent must be used. Unless product instructions state otherwise, hardware should be re-torqued after the first 100 miles, inspected after significant off-road use, and checked periodically as part of routine vehicle maintenance. Loose or missing hardware, noise or movement caused by loose hardware, cross-threading, stripped hardware, incorrect replacement hardware, omitted components or thread locker, and under- or over-torquing are not manufacturing defects unless directly caused by a verified defect in the hardware itself. The owner must also follow the vehicle manufacturer’s limits and the lowest-rated component in the system.

7. Warranty Claim Process

Before returning or repairing a product, contact Xtrusion Overland at [email protected] or 833-987-6837. Provide your name and contact information, proof of purchase, product and vehicle details, a clear description of the issue and when it occurred, and clear photographs or video showing the full product, affected area, installation and mounting points, hardware, load configuration, and any relevant damage. Xtrusion Overland may request measurements, maintenance or installation records, serial or batch information, additional images, or other supporting documentation.

8. Inspection and Return Authorization

Xtrusion Overland must review and authorize a claim before any product is returned, repaired, discarded, or replaced. Do not ship a product without written return instructions or a return authorization. Xtrusion Overland may require remote troubleshooting or physical inspection and may deny a claim if the product is unavailable for inspection, has been altered after the reported failure, or the requested information is not provided. Authorization to return a product does not mean the claim has been approved.

9. Exclusive Remedy

If Xtrusion Overland confirms a covered defect, its sole obligation, and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy, will be, at Xtrusion Overland’s option, to: (a) repair the affected component; (b) replace the component or complete product with the same or a reasonably comparable item; (c) provide store credit equal to the value of the affected component; or (d) if the preceding remedies are not commercially reasonable, refund the original purchase price of the affected product. Replacement items may be revised designs, updated versions, refurbished parts, or current-production equivalents. Repaired or replacement items receive only the remainder of the applicable original warranty term and do not restart or extend it.

10. Shipping and Other Costs

Unless prohibited by law or otherwise agreed in writing, the purchaser is responsible for safely packaging and shipping the product to the location designated by Xtrusion Overland and for costs related to removal, reinstallation, vehicle downtime, labor, travel, diagnosis, or expedited service. If a claim is approved, Xtrusion Overland will pay standard return shipping within the contiguous United States for the repaired or replacement product. Additional freight, international shipping, duties, taxes, remote-area charges, and costs for claims found not to be covered remain the purchaser’s responsibility.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XTRUSION OVERLAND AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOST PROFITS, VEHICLE DAMAGE, CARGO DAMAGE, TOWING, RENTAL, LODGING, OR DOWNTIME, ARISING FROM THE PRODUCT OR ITS USE. XTRUSION OVERLAND’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE AFFECTED PRODUCT.

12. Implied Warranties and State Law

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow limits on implied-warranty duration or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Contact and Discretionary Support

Warranty support: [email protected]  |  833-987-6837

Even when an issue is outside warranty coverage, Xtrusion Overland may, at its sole discretion and without creating an ongoing obligation, offer discounted replacement parts, repair guidance, technical support, or another goodwill accommodation.

Before publication, verify the correct legal entity name, mailing/return address, governing-law language, website, customer-support portal, email domain, and telephone number. The supplied policies use both [email protected] and [email protected]. If the contracting entity remains Xtrusion Designs LLC, identify it clearly—for example, “Xtrusion Overland, a brand of Xtrusion Designs LLC.”
