TrailGate is a 1/8" aluminum panel that bolts over the inside of your tailgate and turns the uneven surface into a flat one. Drop the tailgate and it's a camp table, a place to lay out tools, a dry spot for the laptop, or something better to kneel on while you load the bed. Each panel is cut for one truck's tailgate, so start by finding yours below.

Questions

Do I have to drill my tailgate?

Not for the panel. It uses the screw locations your tailgate already has. The cup holder option is the one exception: it needs two 3.5" holes drilled in the tailgate liner.

Do the cup holders work with every tailgate?

No. They don't work with some locking tailgates, including the 2024+ Tacoma's optional locking tailgate and the 2022+ Tundra's motorized locking tailgate. If your tailgate has a power lock, ask before you order them.

Is the aluminum slippery?

It can be when it's wet. A silicone mat keeps drinks and loose gear in place.

My truck isn't listed. Will one fit?

Each panel is made for a specific tailgate, so there's no universal size. Email support@xtroffroad.com or (316) 330-0024 and we'll check.
