The factory alternator wiring on the 1995–2004 Tacoma uses a Toyota 3-pin connector (IG–S–L). Most CS144 alternators use a GM-style regulator plug, which usually means cutting, splicing, or building your own wiring. This plug-and-play CS144 adapter harness eliminates the guesswork and lets you connect your new high-output alternator the right way.
