Xtrusion Overland started supplying various brands that go hand in hand with our own products, to provide a complete service and help us grow. This includes products that are drop shipped. Please be advised that availability and lead times of those product are solely impacted by the third-party vendor's schedule. Many products are sold under an open inventory method, as the technology to sync inventories is limited, therefore please reach out if a specific product is needed by a specific date for us to double check with the supplier for you!
Any potential delay that occurs in the sourcing, processing, or drop shipment at the third party level will be communicated to the best of our ability to the customer.
ESTIMATED DATE | LEAD TIMES
The estimated lead time provided when you placed your order is JUST AN ESTIMATE. It is not a guarantee that the product will be shipped on that date. The estimated lead time gives you some sense of what the current times to source, cut, pack and ship takes. Many times the lead time can be shorter, but likewise it can extend, depending on factors such as previous demand and current supply. We manufacture many components in house, but extenuating circumstances such as down time for maintenance or unscheduled downtimes for repairs might impact dates as well as delays related to our sourced components. There is a constant flow of parts and shipments, and sometimes the visibility becomes a challenge to pinpoint exactly when your product will ship.
Feel free to check on your order at any time. Be aware that our customer service team may not be able to give you an exact date for completion but rest assured we are tracking your order and it will be built in the order that it was received.

This upgraded battery cable kit replaces old worn out battery cables for more power and better performance from your vehicle.
What's the Big 3 and why do you sell a Big 7?
The "Big 3" or "Big 4" upgrade means improving the current capacity of three cables: 1) alternator output to battery positive, 2) battery negative to frame/body, and 3) engine ground to frame/body. We don't stop there though. Our "Big 7" kits also include the leads to the starter and the fuse relay box, as well as adding an external fuse to avoid routing the increase in current capacity through the smaller fuse box wiring. It’s really one of the first mods you should do to any Jeep!
What makes these cables so special?
We're nerds for specs and finer details around here. None of that CCA (copper-clad aluminum) that's used in inferior products, or stereo installations. We only use fine-strand, SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) approved, pure copper cable. Then using a powerful electromechanical crimping machine, we crimp each solid-copper end, and finally finish the construction by adding a environmental seal made of marine grade heatshrink meeting MIL-I-23053/4. Also included are military style corrosion resistant battery connections and a MEGA fuse and holder. To make the entire install simpler, every end will be labeled for ease of installation.
Do I need a bigger alternator to run these cables?
No. Every vehicle can benefit from our "better than factory" cables. The years, along with environmental damage from rain/salt water/corrosion, can greatly impact your electrical system. Our customers have consistently reported that their vehicle starts faster, charges the battery better, and many times cured electrical gremlins that were brought on by compromised wiring. Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ (1997–2006) owners can also greatly benefit from improved electrical reliability and consistent power delivery under all driving conditions.
I've changed my mind! I want to run a bigger alternator!
Perfect! You're probably running a power inverter, a stereo, a winch, an under hood welder, or flux capacitor. These all require more amperage than the stock alternator is capable of providing.
2GA or 4GA? Which to choose?
As far as 2GA vs 4GA, it's really going to depend on what mods you're going to do to. If you're staying stock, then 4GA is plenty, but if you're looking at modifying it down the road (winches/lights/etc) then you'd want 2GA, and we all know a Jeep is never really *done*.
2/0GA? What's that? That sounds big! Do I need that?
If you like to order the biggest steak on the menu, run 42" Trepadors on your stock axles, or like to flex on your friends, these are for you. You probably don't need them, but we've got them for you. For Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) owners, upgraded cables help restore reliable power delivery and reduce electrical issues caused by aging factory wiring.
